It's a usual thing that when any staff of Wewef went for any events such as conference, talks etc. they're required to prepare a Back To Office Report for the whole organization to get some insights on the event that has taken place. For dinner we're not required to, but being a person who is very 'rajin' by nature *chewah*.. here's a BTOR for the 2009 Appreciation Dinner at Promenade Hotel in Pictorial Mode. Enjoy!

In conjunction with the opening of the 1st Sabah Bird Nest Concept Rafflesia Grand Ballroom of Promenade hotel, Wewef-Malaysia (Borneo Office) received two invitations to the event. Me (Charlene Dawn Toyong, CDT) and Rashidah Maqbool ((RMR) was selected to represent Wewef to this event *seiring dan sejalan~ewahhh*. As stated in the invitation, there will be a 9-course lavish set-Dinner prepared by two Master Chefs from Guangzhou China, Master Chef Luo Zhi Yu and Master Chef Chen Liang. Happy & excited we are! *echo: Food glorious food~hehe*
Pre-event; we were being told that the menu will be a selection of dish with 'sarang burung' as the Main Ingredient *beh*.

"Bah nanti the food will be made of Sarang burung. Sup sarang burung, Sarang burung masak kicap, sarang burung masak halia" *question mark?~bingung*

CONCLUSION:
Despite the fact that the most anticipated dish of sarang burung was NOT listed on the menu! and there's a controversial dish on the menu. Still! having dinner in a 'Bird Nest' will be a night to be remembered. .
It can be concluded that both CDT & RMR had a great time during the dinner. Great Food! Entertaining Performances! and Colorful Atmosphere that leads to an Exciting Experience! A dinner at the Bird Nest!
It doesn't make you less human than you are by having a dinner in such place *wink*
