Never would it enter into the lists of expectation, in this petite girl that she actually would be able to attend this session since she’s no longer around KK. It is her duty as a daughter that brings her to KK, to drive her parents there.
She then knew that she is actually needed (not really needed la, it was more like fulfilling her responsibilities to the things that she has committed herself into). And partially she’s glad that she has made it there. She had a wonderful weekend though it was a bit tiring.
Now that she’s back at her hometown, all she wanted to do is to share what she had learned during the SYD2 Preparation. Perhaps what she had learned, will be learnt by those who wanted to learn & happen to come across her humble blog (^_^).
The session started off with the sing-and-dance-along-the-theme-song. Where all of the participants learn the actions of the SYD2 theme song entitled “JADILAH SAKSI-KU”. This girl came late and she only managed to enter F9 at the end of this session.
Then, they move on to the next session, the ice-breaker. She thought that the activity was a fun and exciting one. Besides of getting choc candies, she had the chance to get to know new people. That is IF you really played the game to its objective la.
Unlike this petite gal, it was more fun for her to be able to get choc candies rather than meeting new people (haha). She went around the room & asked questions to all the people without giving them a chance to ask her questions (when you ask question to a participant, you earn 1 choc candy for each questions you asked & likewise, any questions that you received from other participant will cost you 1 of your choc candy). Main BuYuk oo that girl kan!? (Hahaha).
It serves her right, when she was called up in front to introduce herself to everyone since she has the highest number of choc candies ( alongside with another participant – Gosh! I forgot her name, but I do remember her face :p ). This girl then realizes that the game is worth more than a delicious choc candy. It is the JOY that comes with the choc candy is all that matters & worthy to her *smiles, smiles*.
After a short session of prayer and reflection, they went into a more serious part of the session, which is the Talk. The talk was given by Charleston Badius.
In the mind of this petite girl, she thought that the talk on that day is all about “EXPECTATION!”. What to expect? What do we (participant) expect? What does the organizing team expect? And the most important thing, what do we (participant) think is HIS expectation in each and every one of us?
The speaker asked them to EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!
Then the speaker gave a brief explanation on the SYD2 prayer.

This girl thought that the talk was a bit deep for some of the participants. She was having a bit difficulty in understanding the explanation as well. (Blaming on the choc candies! she was eating that delicious candy throughout the talk haha).
But what she can conclude from the talk is that, the expectation of SYD2 lies in the prayer itself. The expectation towards all the youths that will be attending SYD2. For them to be renewed and be holy, through the Holy Spirit received. For them to be able to receive the grace that shall lead them to having a Christ-centred live, according to HIS will. And for them to be able to be the witnesses of God, to be able to proclaim HIS glory, according to HIS calling.
And you will be my WITNESSES”
-Acts 1:8-
After the talk, they were then divided into groups for discussion & further activities. This petite girl was so happy when 2 of her 3 friends (Margaret & Keith) were in the same group as her (Picking the number by faith and not by sight ah! KONON! haha). They got the LUCKY number 3. AND what a coincidence that they have another one of their friend as the group PK. Aiyo how can this girl forget what PK stands for. Pelayan Kelab!? Pelayan Komuni!? (ni Brother Rayner yang cakap) Hahaha, Pelayan Komiti!? Ish lupa ooo…NVM…Adrian happen to be Group 3 PK (tepuk dahi, sambil geleng2 kepala).
P/S: Adrian you better get ready with your Paracetamol. I think you’ve got the loudest, craziest & wackiest participants of the entire participant of SHC to SYD2. Hahaha. We’ll try our best to be as decent and innocent as we can be! KONON la! *finger-crossed* ( which then requires us to go against our nature – I admit that I am wacky & loud by nature :p )
The 1st discussion is What do we want from SYD2? Selecting the Leader and ‘Sexytary’ for the group and Naming the Group.
The Discussion ended with this:
Group Name:
S.E.R.A.Y.O.H Acts
S – Smart,
E – Excellent,
R – Responsive &
A – Active
Y – Youths
O – Of
H – Holiness
Group Organization Chart:
PK : Adrian
Group Leader : Alfonso
Secretary (sexytary to be exact) : Keith
Members:
Charlene

Izabela
Closing Remark by this petite girl named Charlene;
The SERAYOH shall act,
and when they act,
it’s not the ‘SERAYOH’ness that counts.
What will be portrayed
through the S.E.R.A.Y.O.H Acts,
That’s all that matters.
